Dear Hugo Boss,
As a concerned consumer I am writing to encourage you to use more Australian wool in your products, including wool from mulesed sheep. The vegan organisation PETA are running a campaign of misinformation against the Australian wool industry. PETA are using this campaign to try and promote veganism across a wider spectrum of society, they are not really motivated by animal welfare. Mulesing is not cruel. I enjoy eating meat and don’t believe that PETA have the right to impose their ideals upon others with regard to lifestyle decisions. I urge Hugo Boss to therefore use more Australian wool. Australian wool is produced using a minimum amount of chemicals, and very efficiently in terms of use of scarce energy resources. This makes Australian wool one of the most sustainable fibre products on the planet. If PETA are successful in their campaign wool will contain more chemicals and produce more carbon emissions. Please help the environment and support Australian wool growers in sustainably producing this great product by using more Australian wool.
